I'd like to order a bespoke illustration. How does this work?My illustrative style is semi realistic and sketchy and aims to capture the essence of your loved one/s in a modern and dynamic way. All my illustrations are based on photographs provided by you and can be of a single person or people combined to make a natural looking composition. The illustration Process Your illustration is first created digitally, sketched using a drawing tablet and pen. Your illustration will be either portrait or landscape depending on the photograph/s provided and any personalised text will be added where we feel best suits the illustration. At this stage I will send you a preview to make sure you are happy with the overall composition, the look and feel of the drawing, and you can choose whether to progress with the finished illustration in full colour or black/white. Once this is all agreed I then print the artwork onto fine grain artists paper and hand finish the illustration, working on top of the print with art pastels and watercolour pencils to add additional detail and depth and creating a unique piece of art you are bound to treasure for years to come.

Providing ImagesAfter placing your order, please email your photo/s to: enquiries@amylizdesigns.co.uk quoting your order number and name or alternatively you can post them to me and I will return along with your finished illustration. You will ideally need to send high quality photograph/s to ensure I can capture as much detail as possible. I will not be able to work from pixelated or blurry images, or photos where key face / body parts are cropped off, so please be mindful when selecting your images. Try to opt for a natural daylight photograph if possible and key features such as each persons face should be clear and in focus.

I've ordered a family names tree print. How can I send you my family names info?If you have ordered one of our names trees you can just email over your family names info to us at: enquiries@amylizdesigns.co.uk.

I'd like to order a bespoke family tree print. How does this work?Each tree we create is 100% made to order. We work from information you send us and then will send over a proof for you to check before going to print etc. If amends are needed we just go back and forth until we are both totally happy with the design and then we will get printed, framed and posted out to you. Our bespoke trees are priced according to number of names rather than generations so you just need to total up before placing an order and then once ordered we will send over a research document for you to fill in all your family research into. I can also work from an editable word / excel file (not a flattened image) as long as the info is clear for me to understand who's linked to who etc.

I've ordered a bespoke family tree print. How do I send you my family history research?If you have ordered one of our more detailed bespoke trees we will email you a Family Tree Research form to complete with all your family research. We ask you to fill in on the computer paying special attention to all spellings etc and send back to us at: enquiries@amylizdesigns.co.uk. Upon receipt we will start work on your print 😊. Alternatively we can also work from a word / excel file as long as it is in an editable format; for example we must be able to copy text from it (not a flattened image), as long as the info is clear for us to understand who's linked to who etc. Once we have all your info we normally need approx 1-2weeks for us to create the initial design / artwork and then we will send you a digital proof to check over before printing, framing and posting out to you.

Help i've made an error with my order, can I change it?In some circumstances changes can be made to orders which have just been placed, please get in contact with us straight away by email to discuss.

My order is a gift. Can you remove any prices and send direct to them?Of course! If your order is a gift just leave a note on your order and as you checkout and we will make sure no invoices are included when we parcel up for you. If you want us to post direct to the recipient please also ensure to use their address and the shipping address.

Faulty, missing or damaged ItemsEach and every item we sell is individually customised and hand made to order and we try to package our items as securely as possible to get to you in perfect condition, however sometimes mistakes and damages do occur. We are unable to offer refunds or accept cancellations, however if there is a problem with your order we will happily sort a replacement out for you. If your item/s are faulty or have been damaged in transit please contact us within 48 hours. Please email us at enquiries@amylizdesigns.co.uk and send details of the issue and images of the mistake / damaged item including photos of the packaging etc. Please note that the Royal Mail look in to all damaged and missing goods, so any item(s) deliberately damaged and returned will be deemed as fraud and will be treated as such. Please note all items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered faulty and will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
